JLL appoints new EMEA Heads of Capital Markets Research & Forecasting (UK)

Jones Lang LaSalle has announced the appointment of two directors to its EMEA Research team. Robert Stassen is to join as Head of EMEA Capital Markets Research, and Andrew Burrell is joining to become Head of EMEA Forecasting. Both join from April 2011.

Robert Stassen was most recently at Credit Suisse in London where he was a senior equity analyst responsible for the Continental European property stocks and co-covering the UK stocks. Prior to Credit Suisse Robert was Head of Property Equity Research at Fortis Bank in Amsterdam, and has also held equity analyst posts at Deutsche Bank and Paribas Capital Markets. He holds an MBA from ESADE Business School, Barcelona and a Masters degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University.

Andrew Burrell joins Jones Lang LaSalle from King Sturge where he has been Head of Office Research and Chief Economist since 2008. At King Sturge he was responsible for a team of analysts covering pan-European office research and consultancy, and for providing and promoting the house view on economic and property markets. Prior to King Sturge Andrew was Associate Director, Macroeconomics at Experian Business Strategies and also held posts as economist at the Bank of England and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Andrew holds an MA in Economics from Liverpool University.
