IVG leases Artquadrat in Bonn to Deutsche Telekom (DE)

On the Museumsmeile in Bonn, one of the most state-of-the-art office buildings in the former capital has been leased.

Just behind the Bundeskunsthalle (Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany) – a few minutes from the city center and the main railway station – the impressive building with 8,700 m² of office space has been leased in its entirety to Deutsche Telekom, with the move expected at the end of year.

The property, which was developed by IVG Immobilien AG and receives a lot of natural light, has an entrance portal spread over all four floors as well as access via separate entrances in the inner courtyard. It is one of the city's most energy-efficient buildings and one of the best equipped in terms of communications technology. It has over 167 parking spaces in a single, well-lit underground garage. Further parking spaces are available at the adjacent public car park.

Despite many government institutions relocating to Berlin, Bonn is one of the few cities in Germany which have seen growth in the number of residents and jobs in the past years and have above-average purchasing power. In recent years, the former German capital has developed into a center for the service industry, science, research and international institutions. With the UN Campus, Bonn has also become a United Nations city.
