During the second IVBN lustrum last Thursday, the IVBN (Vereniging van Institutionele Beleggers in Vastgoed, Nederland; the Association of Institutional Property Investors in the Netherlands) has presented the Vastgoedwijzer, a publication that gives insight into the rise and development of the institutional real esate investment branche, marked by amongst others the founding of IVBN in 1995.
Mr. R.W.M. Smeets, General Manager of Fortis Vastgoed Beleggingen, and President of the IVBN, presented the first copy of the Vastgoedwijzer to Mr. Rinnooy Kan, Member of the Board of ING, who was a guest speaker and in his speech focused on the future of real estate investment in the institutional sector.
