IPUT secured planning to add 12 more units at Nexus Logistics Park (GB)

IPUT Real Estate (IPUT) received planning permission to deliver an additional 12 units, extending to 157935m2 at Nexus Logistics Park (Nexus). Planning for an initial 74322m2 (five units) was granted in 2023.

Nexus Logistics Park is a sustainable warehouse development by IPUT located near Dublin's M50 and airport. It will consist of 17 buildings with a total area of 232257m2. Units can be as small as 4645m2 and feature a glue-laminated timber frame that emits 27% less carbon than steel. Sustainable design features include solar panels, LED lighting, and rainwater harvesting. The park will also include amenities such as sports facilities, running tracks, cycle paths, and art installations.

The development of Nexus follows the recent successful completion of the 51,096m2 Quantum Logistics Park where its four units are let to leading global occupiers Maersk, DHL, and Harvey Norman.

Michael Clarke, Chief Investment Officer, IPUT Real Estate, commented: “Our ambition is for Nexus to be one of the most sustainable logistics parks in Europe. Following the successful delivery of Quantum Logistics Park, which includes Ireland’s first net zero logistics building, our investment in Nexus supports a greener economy while providing amenities that serve both our occupiers and the local community.”

IPUT has appointed CBRE and Harvey as joint letting agents.
