International support for Russian retail real estate (RU)

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is launching an ICSC Liaison Committee in Russia on Thursday 12 November to support the fast growing retail development industry in the country. The Committee will launch from 4-6.30pm at the Hotel Baltschug Lempinski, Moscow.

ICSC is the shopping center industry's global trade association, with 60,000 members in 80 countries worldwide include shopping center owners, developers, managers, retailers, investors, other professionals and public officials. The ICSC Russian Liaison Committee, supported by ICSC, will support the country's industry as it emerges from the current global recession.

ICSC Russian Liaison Committee chair, Natalia Oreshina, Director of Art Properties said: "The Committee will work to organize events, networking and information sharing within the Russian Federation. Our role is to promote the vast opportunities that ICSC's international network presents to our industry in the Russia Federation."

Other members of the ICSC Russian Liaison Committee include representatives from East Capital, retailer Mango, Ikea Real Estate Russan, outlet center developers Fashion House Development, Immoeast Russia, AIG Lincoln and SCG London
