Bullring, Birmingham, United Kingdom, received a Design and Development Award for Innovative Design and Development on a new project. The goal of this project was to eliminate the negative perceptions of the previous 1960s structure. To create an environment blending with the existing fabric, rain and scale of the city, classic materials such as stone, metal, glass and timber were used. Bullring is owned by The Birmingham Alliance, (Hammerson plc, Henderson Global Investors and Land Securities plc), The architect for this project was Benoy.
