International Property Show 2008 set to kick off on February 17 (UAE)

Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions, organizers of the International Property Show 2008, have announced that the event is set to witness the largest participation of leading global real estate developers, who are set to showcase their multi-billion project portfolio to a high value audience. Sponsoring the exhibition are leading companies that seek to leverage the outstanding marketing and networking opportunities in the event including Al Qudra Real Estate, Tameer Holding, SNASCO and Bonyan International Investment Group. The organisers further revealed that the fourth edition of the show, which will run from February 17 to 19, 2008, is expected to welcome more than 27,000 global visitors from 70 countries.

In addition to high impact presentations by participating exhibitors, the organiser will host a Networking Business Breakfast, sponsored by Al Arabiya News Channel, which will gather influential decision makers in the global real estate arena. The Dubai Land Department will also organize high value auctions on the second day of the event, which will provide an opportunity for visitors to acquire new plots in Dubai. In line with significant government legislation aimed at protecting investors, the organizers have dedicated a special pavilion for financial institutions and law-departments that have registered with RERA, to facilitate multi-billion deals among international and regional companies and individual investors.

"Our decision to expand the event venue, which has doubled with the inclusion of Zabeel Hall at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre is a clear indication of the immense growth of the International Property Show year after year," said Dawood Al Shezawi, Managing Director, Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions. "As we anticipate the arrival of delegates from leading international property developers, our focus is to provide a more effective platform that encourages high value investment deals; thereby further strengthening our reputation as the definitive event for the international real estate sector. We are looking forward towards adding up to the present activities and features at the 2009 show for the benefit of loyal and new participants."

The 2008 edition of the show has proven to be the biggest since its inaugural staging in 2005, as participants from different countries such as Russia, Iran, Ireland, Panama and Saudi Arabia mark their participation in the event for the first time. In addition, the event is also witnessing a larger participation from USA, Bahrain, Austria, Australia, Argentina, Italy, India, Spain, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Canada, South Africa, Malaysia, Turkey, Thailand, Switzerland, and Singapore. Companies in the real estate industry from Arab nations such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and the UAE are also highly visible within the event.

In addition to the well-represented international delegations, the event will also witness the participation of the most prominent names in property development in the UAE who will showcase their latest offerings and state-of-the-art projects. Major exhibitors include DAMAC Properties, Al Fajr Properties, Sungwon, Sorouh Real Estate, Dubai World Central, Deyaar Development, RAK Properties, Falconcity of Wonders, Dheeraj & East Coast LLC and Union Properties.

"The overwhelming support, which the International Property Show 2008 has captured from global audiences, especially from the corporate sector, has provided us with utmost confidence to continuously increase the scope and features of our events. The presence of platinum and gold sponsors and the support of Dubai Land Department also serve as a motivator for us to continually strive to increase the event's significance on a global scale," concluded Al Shezawi.
