The logistics park of MainLog Gehespitz is situated close to Frankfurt Airport, west of the city of Neu Isenburg. With the sale of more than 230,000 m² of land to the REWE group, based in Cologne another major step was taken in the development of MainLog Gehespitz.

REWE will build a more than 60,000 m² large national distribution center for food and non-food products, which will create, when fully operating, more than 300 job opportunities and is scheduled to open in early 2013.
Since 2009, ING Real Estate Investment Management has managed to develop more than 80,000 m² on the site and sold approximately 230,000 m² of land. "We are busy with the preparation of the remaining land portion allowing 20,000 m² of lettable area in the Western part of the scheme, which will be built for logistics and commercial services of any kind," said George Stark, Senior Project Manager at ING Real Estate Investment Management Germany.
Important tenants like Dachser, Nippon Express, Geis Industrieservice and Panalpina are already situated at Mainlog-Gehespitz, close to Frankfurt. ''The leasable areas are very attractive, the infrastructure is perfect being close to the motorway with fantastic access to national and international highways. And last but not least the access to local trains for our employees was an important factor that made us choose the location", states Thomas Euler, Key Account Kontraktlogistics of Dachser GmbH & Co. KG.
