ING Real Estate is pleased to announce the appointment of Wilson Lee to its growing global opportunistic investment platform as European Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. Mr Lee recently joined this business to develop strategies to achieve opportunistic returns through real estate investment across Europe.
Mr Lee brings over 24 years of real estate experience, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Finance EMEA and Asia Pacific at UBS Investment Bank. Prior to that, Mr Lee spent 17 years at Lehman Brothers in real estate investment banking and principal investing including eight years as Managing Director and European Head of Lehman Brothers Global Real Estate Group.
From New York, David Gilbert, Managing Director of ING Real Estate's global opportunistic investment platform commented, "The breadth and depth of experience that Wilson brings to our European business allows us to continue to expand our leadership position in the investment management business. Mr Lee will be located in ING Real Estate's UK office. His appointment follows the appointment of Peter Kim, Asian Managing Director and demonstrates ING Real Estates commitment to developing further the range of services to its clients.
