ING Real Estate Southern Europe has acquired, in the month of July 2004, a logistic industrial premise of 42.000 m², in Dos Hermanas (Seville). The industrial premise is located in Industrial Area Carretera de la Isla, 12 km away from Seville. Nowadays it is hired to the distribution chain Carrefour.
The Logistic Fund was created on July 1, 2002 by ING Real Estate Investment Management, to operate to European level, with an initial investment of € 500 million and a duration of 8 years. This Fund invests in France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Belgium and Spain, where it has focused on logistic and industrial assets.
The buying of the logistic industrial premise in Dos Hermanas is the third acquisition in Spain of the Fund, which already owns an industrial premises in Fogars del Vallés, Barcelona, and other one in Miralcampo´s Industrial Zone, in Madrid.
