ING Clarion Real Estate Securities names Robson-Brown Senior Vice President (US)

Simon Robson-Brown has joined ING Clarion Real Estate Securities as senior vice president in the firm's London, England office, while Daisuke Hotta has been named senior investment analyst in Tokyo, Japan, it was announced today.

These appointments mark the continued expansion of ING Clarion's public company analyst team into Europe and the Asia Pacific region. ING Clarion Real Estate Securities now manages global assets in Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, and Taiwan, as well as Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East. The team is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Robson-Brown comes to ING Clarion from UBS, London, where he was director of real estate equity research. Hotta joins ING Clarion from ING Funds Management, Tokyo, where he was an investment analyst.

"The market for publicly-traded real estate securities continues to expand outside the U.S., and adding capabilities in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia is integral to our strategy. Simon and Daisuke will play an important role in helping us grow our business in the London and Tokyo markets," said Ritson T. Ferguson, chief investment officer at ING Clarion Real Estate Securities.
