The center is due to open in the second half of 2011.

Maritimo Shopping Center is located on Aurel Vlaicu Boulevard on the busiest road connecting the north and south parts of the city. The planned gross leasable area of the center is over 50,000 m². Parking for the center will be both underground and on the surface with over 2,200 available spaces. The new layout of the center meets the requirements of international tenants and results in 130 retail units with a hypermarket, a cinema, food court, electronics, entertainment and multiple fashion anchors.

Currently, the facade and the roof of the shopping center are being completed while construction activities are working towards the planned opening of the center in the second half of 2011.

The new concept of Maritimo Shopping Center is the effect of a systematically and rigorously pursued effort towards delivering value for tenants and bringing choice to customers while capitalizing on location and positive features of the project.

"Maritimo Shopping Center will be the largest and most innovative shopping center in the Constanta region and it will combine retail and leisure to offer a day out destination. We will provide our tenants with an additional value for their businesses and offer customers a high quality shopping center to enjoy their shopping in a relaxed atmosphere," said Eduard Zehetner, CEO and member of the Executive Board of IMMOFINANZ Group.

The leasing of the center is carried out by the exclusive agent Krammer & Wagner, which has been successful in the field of development, consulting and marketing of real estate for more than 20 years with a total marketed retail area of over 600,000 m².

The list of Maritimo Shopping Center anchor retailers begins with the French hypermarket chain, Auchan, which plans to open a unit of more than 16,000 m², whilst other prospective large tenants such as Decathlon, C&A and H&M are in negotiation.
