The Belgian based real estate developer ILD recently commenced the construction works of a new industrial facility in Kutná Hora, Czech Republic. The customer is FOXCONN Technology CZ, a subsidiary of FOXCONN Technology Group, a Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturing company.
The building will feature a total of 50.000 m², of which 26.200 m² in a first phase, to be taken up by the warehousing function and technical areas (25.400 m²), whereas the remaining 800 m² will comprise offices and staff facilities. Around the building, technical infrastructure will be additionally developed, including roads, car parks and service yards. ILD plans to complete the building in April 2014.
FOXCONN is the world’s largest electronics contract manufacturer measured by revenues ; its clients include major electronics and information technology companies, such as Apple and Sony. Notable products that the company manufactures include the iPad, iPhone, iPod, PlayStation and Wii U.
