More international retailers than ever before plan to attend the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC)'s Retail Connections event, being held for the third year in London. Well over 100 retailers have signed up for the event, with internationally-recognised names alongside ambitious new companies seeking to begin their retail expansion across Europe.This year the event is being held on Thursday 4 February at the new, more accessible venue of The Business Design Centre, London.
Over the last three years ICSC's Retail Connections, the dedicated leasing show for the European retail real estate sector, has grown in importance as retailers and developers recognise the value of being able to do business directly with the leasing teams within developers who are responsible for hundreds of shopping centres across Europe.
ICSC's Retail Connections helps retailers meet leasing teams from multiple developers without incurring expensive and unsustainable travel across Europe to meet with them individually.
Attendees include international retailers such as Mango, Primark, The Deichmann Group, Foot Locker, Levi Strauss, The Body Shop, Lindex and, for the first time, Abercrombie and Fitch. A large number of growing retailers such as Desigual, Holland & Barrett, Tie Rack, Godiva Chocolates and Fossil have also indicated that they will be attending.
Sixteen of European biggest shopping centre development companies will be attend including ECE Projektmanagement, Unibail Rodamco, SES Spar European Shopping Centres, Sonae Sierra, Neinver, Ikea MOS, Ivanhoe Cambridge, MAB and Henderson Global Investors.
