Over 60 students are expected at the school, the only one of its kind focusing on shopping center management in Europe. Classes focus on management, marketing and leasing.

This year's master class will be with Peter Wilhelm, of Wilhelm & Co. and his Chief Operating Officer, Jean-Michel Despaux. Wilhelm & Co. is an award-winning developer responsible for successful multi-functional projects such as the 300,000-m² L'esplanade in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and Mediacite in Liege, Belgium, a 190,000-m² urban regeneration project. Wilhelm also represents the industry through ICSC's European Public Affairs Committee in Brussels and is a vocal supporter of sustainability.

According to Neil Mitchenall, Chair of the European Shopping Centre Trust, which funds a number of scholarships for students attending the ICSC school: "Continuing education is essential. How can large developers and investors expect to achieve great things if they don't support or provide relevant education opportunities to young professionals? Retail real estate's future success and profitability relies on people who have the right knowledge and drive."
