ICSC launches Executive Learning in Europe (EUR)

As the shopping center industry faces a tougher economic climate, The International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) has launched a new series of Executive Learning courses to help industry professionals develop the skills and knowledge needed to help their businesses prosper in such unchartered and more challenging times.

The series starts on 24 October when Lawrence Hutchings, director of shopping center investment management at London-based Hammerson UK Properties Plc, will focus on indentifying and implementing asset management initiatives to enhance value. The one-day course will also cover how periods of low capital growth impact on asset managers.

The second course, on 14 November, is being taught by Wolf Jochen Schulte-Hillen (Chairman, SH Selection GmbH and Co.KG, Laer Bei Munster, Germany) will focus on adapting your strategy to the changing retail world.

The final course in the series to be delivered on 12 December by Julia A Langkraehr (Managing Director, Retail Profile Europe Ltd, London, UK), will focus on the principles of leasing and temporary tenants.

The executive learning series will be delivered at ICSC's European office at 29 Queen Anne's Gate, London SW1H 9BU. For more information contact Magda Navas on +44 207 976 3102 or visit www.icsc.org.
