IBM sells 7 buildings to Morgan Stanley and Foncière des Régions (FR)

The Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund IV (MSREF IV) and Foncière des Régions joint venture (respectively 75% and 25%) has acquired a portfolio of seven buildings totalling 125,000 m² from IBM France.

The buildings will be partly leased by IBM on a nine-year lease contract. The Foncière des Régions group will perform the property management and asset management of the portfolio for the account of the two investors.

Baker & McKenzie SCP was the advisor of the acquiring parties in this transaction. Jones Day acted as the advisor of IBM France. La Société Générale, the loan-office, was advised by the Gide Loyrette Nouel agency.
