Homburg Invest has announced that the Company has closed on the purchase of properties in Amersfoort and 't Harde, The Netherlands.
Amersfoort is situated in the province of Utrecht about 25 kilometres east of Amsterdam and 25 kilometres north of Utrecht. The property is located on industrial park "De Hoef" in the eastern part of Amersfoort.
The industrial site is a relatively new area (20 years), and the average quality level of the buildings is good. The area houses many ICT and financial companies.
The property comprises an office building and warehouse building (connected) and site with parking spaces which was constructed around 1990 and a semi open storage building (approximately 5,920 ft²) which was built in 1997.
The building provides in total approximately 52,948 ft² of net floor space distributed between the office building on ground and three upper floors and warehouse space on the ground and upper floor.
The current use is office and warehouse/storage. Because of the good accessibility and the possibility for trucks to load and unload, it is a very suitable building for the current use.
Located in De Koekoek Business Park, the total land area of the properties is approximately 290,000 ft². The building improvements consist primarily of factory space with office and secure storage. The buildings provide total leaseable space of approximately 147,000 ft².
Both properties were purchased on a sale/leaseback basis from Dutch publicly listed companies. Leases at market rates run for a minimum of 10 years.
