HOCHTIEF Solutions to build BelVista residential complex in Frankfurts Europaviertel (DE)

HOCHTIEF Solutions started work on constructing BelVista in October 2012: The residential complex in Frankfurt's Europaviertel West will comprise Belverde, an ensemble of residential buildings with 8,900 m² of living space, and the residential and commercial Belvivo building, with a rental area of 13,000 m². ABG FRANKFURT HOLDING Wohnungsbau- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft secured Belvivo in May 2012 as a share deal.

It has already been confirmed that a children's crèche with a rental area of around 1,200 m² will operate on the ground floor of Belvivo. Of the 97 Belverde condominiums, around 90% have been sold to date. The residential complex includes an underground parking garage with space for a good 230 cars. BelVista will be ready for occupancy in two phases: Belvivo in summer 2014, and Belverde in October 2014.

Two business units of HOCHTIEF Solutions—HTP and formart—are handling the BelVista residential project. A gross floor area of approximately 27,700 m² is being created on a lot of around 9,100 m² in a section of Europaviertel's Boulevard West in Frankfurt.

The Belvivo—a horizontal building extending around 130 meters along Europaallee—will contain 122 rental apartments with seven separate entrances, with commercial units on the ground floor. The four Belverde apartment buildings will stand on the southern section of the lot.

"As a whole, BelVista stands for especially high energy efficiency. To achieve this, we are relying on heat recovery. The rental apartments are even being built in passive house style," explains Markus Brod, Manager of the HTP Rhine-Main branch of HOCHTIEF Solutions.

Iris Dilger, Manager of the formart Rhine-Main branch of HOCHTIEF Solutions adds: "The Belverde condominiums will meet the stringent criteria of the 'KfW-Effizienzhaus 55-Standard' (uses less than 55% primary energy of what a comparable house would need). That's what the buyers want, as our sales to date show."
