The mitteWest urban quarter will be built on a plot of approx. 12,900 m².

Business lawyers Schindhelm Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft will move into almost 1,250 m² of rented space. Accountants and tax consultants Falk will occupy just under 520 m². Both companies will operate at the new location as STG Schindhelm Falk & Co. Around 315 m² on the ground floor is planned to be used as a joint conference area.

The mitteWest urban quarter will be built between Osnabrück's districts Katharinenviertel and Westerberg, on an approximately 12,900-m² section of the former bus depot of the city's public utility company.

By 2015, seven residential buildings with an underground garage comprising 75 lots, as well as an office building and a 170-lot parking garage for the urban quarter are planned to be constructed. In total, almost 10,500 m² of residential space and nearly 2,350 m² of office space will be newly built.

In addition, two existing properties will be preserved: in a heritage-listed former factory building, a good 2,500 m² of office and commercial space as well as almost 2,000 m² of residential space will be created. A building formerly used as a waiting shelter with a gross floor area of approximately 110 m² will be revitalized and can be used for catering purposes in future.
