HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung sells specialist retail mall and service center (DE)

HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung has sold the new specialist retail mall and service center on the Industrial Development West in the Hessian town of Friedberg. Hansainvest has acquired the complex for €22.3 million. The overall development comprises two construction phases with combined rental space of just under 19,000 m², most of which is already let.

The first construction phase was completed in mid-2009. The entire rental space of around 15,000 m² is being used by a Globus building supplies and garden center.

The InLine specialist retail mall forms the second phase of construction: around 75% of the 4,000 m² rental space has already been let to retail and service businesses and a catering outlet. The complex grounds have an area of over 51,000 m² with around 550 car parking slots.
