HOCHTIEF Development Poland, a fully owned subsidiary of HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung, has won the CiJ Award in the category "Best Office Development 2008" for its Lipowy Office Park project in Warsaw. An independent jury made up of representatives from the real estate industry honored the office project as a successful example of design and construction excellence, development skill and financial viability.
Lipowy Office Park, to be completed by early 2009, will comprise four separate buildings on a generously spaced, park-style site in Warsaw's business district. The more than 39,000-m² office space has been let completely to the country's biggest bank, Pekao S.A. of the UniCredit Group. A fully owned subsidiary of Europolis already bought the property before construction actually started.
With the annual CiJ Awards created in 2000, the Central & Eastern European Construction & Investment Journal honors outstanding project developments and companies in the real estate sector. At five national events in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia, Central and Eastern Europe's leading real estate magazine presents prizes in eleven categories.
