HOCHTIEF Development Poland has sold a real estate package on the edge of the Warsaw financial district to Kulczyk Silverstein Properties, a joint venture between Kulczyk Real Estate Holding and Silverstein Properties.

The package includes the historic Mazowiecka Street (ul. Mazowiecka) 2/4 and Malachowski Square (Plac Malachowskiego) two buildings, inclusive of an adjoining new-build. It was agreed that no details of the purchase price would be disclosed.

The two buildings, erected at the beginning of the 20th century, are currently under restoration. The work will include restoring the facades to their original condition. In addition, at Traugutta Street (Romualda Traugutta) a new wing is being built, the architecture of which will be oriented to the surroundings.

In future, a two-story underground parking garage for 100 cars will be housed beneath this new section. Overall, around 18,000 m² of rental space are being created to BREEAM standard, mainly for office use. In keeping with the history, the ground and first floors of the buildings on Malachowski Square will once be given over to retail space.
