Hilton debuts in Torun (PL)

Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with PPI Polskie Projekty Inwestycyjne, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Satoria Group, to open the 132-guest-room Hilton Garden Inn Torun Old Town. The property, located in the heart of the city’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will be managed by VHM Hotel Management. A former brewery and tenement building, the new hotel will also feature business and fitness centres, restaurant and bar.

Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Hilton said: “Torun is one of Poland’s most popular domestic destinations. Its rich history and well-connected infrastructure mean it’s a fantastic place to open our next Hilton Garden Inn in Poland. We are looking forward to the hotel welcoming its first guests and joining our more than 30 hotels in Poland.”

Andrzej Wojcik, President of Satoria Group and VHM Hotel Management said: ”Hilton Garden Inn Torun Old Town will be our fourth hotel in partnership with Hilton, joining properties in Gdansk, Olsztyn and Lodz. Our long-standing partnership is built on the strength of Hilton’s brands and our mission to offer the finest hospitality in the country. We cannot wait to welcome guests to Torun in 2022.”
