Highest Dutch residential tower Montevideo officially opened (NL)

In the presence of future residents and tenants of leisure and office space, Montevideo, the highest residential tower of the Netherlands, was officially opened by the mayor of Rotterdam Ivo Opstelten.

Montevideo, a project of ING Real Estate, is situated on the Kop van Zuid in Rotterdam, next to Hotel New York, the former headquarters of the Holland Amerika Lijn. The 152.317-m high residential tower is a design of Mecanoo Architecten (Francine Houben). Montevideo consists of 124 apartments to own, 68 apartments to rent (owner Vesteda), 6,000 m² of office space, 1,800 m² of floor space for cafés and restaurants and a two-layer parking garage for 273 cars.
