Helical Bar is pleased to announce the successful letting of 80,989 ft² (approx. 7,525 m²) of office space at 200 Aldersgate to FTI Consulting, the global business advisory firm. As a result of the letting, 200 Aldersgate is now 84% let.
200 Aldersgate will become the new EMEA headquarters for FTI Consulting and will accommodate over 550 of its UK staff who will be brought under one roof from three locations in Central London. The agreed rents range from £40 to £47.50 and FTI Consulting’s occupancy will take over three floors as follows:
- 9th Floor – 15,075 ft² (1,400 m²)
- 5th Floor – 33,678 ft² (3,130 m²)
- 4th Floor south – 32,236 ft² (2,994 m²)
The letting further enforces the vibrant and diverse occupier mix at 200 Aldersgate and FTI Consulting will join recent new tenants such as Agence France Presse and Cass Business School. The building also benefits from a Virgin Active gym on the lower floor and Giant, the bicycle specialist, opened its new flagship cycle store on the ground and lower ground floors in April.
As a result of the letting to FTI Consulting, Helical has now completed deals with eight new tenants at 200 Aldersgate in the last six months amounting to 177,668 ft² (approx. 16,505 m²) of office and 9,000 ft² (approx. 836 m²) of retail space. This brings the total number of deals Helical has agreed since it completed the refurbishment of the building to 21.
Helical Bar was advised by CBRE and Savills, FTI Consulting was advised by CBRE.
