Marco Hekman will lead the Dutch branche of the merged consultancy-firms CB Richard Ellis and Insignia. Before the merger, Hekman led CB Richard Ellis together with Rob Mans and Eric Bakker. Isignia was led by Peter Driessen and Paul Buijs.
The appointment of Hekman was no surprise, since CB Richard Ellis was the dominant party in the merger. Staff from CB Richard Ellis will also run the other European offices. Only the position of the French-branche is still undecided.
Peter Driessen and Peter Paul Buijs have been appointed European Director for International Investments and Client Relationship. The original founders of the Dutch Insignia-branche will be especially responsible for customer relations and cross-border transactions.
