The activities include the assembly of entire electro-technical installations and cabling for fire and anti-theft security and laying data cables. In addition, Siegers Elektro is specialised in laying high-voltage installations and the company has a 24 hour emergency service. Siegers Elektro’s retail activities will not be acquired.

The planned acquisition is part of Heijmans’ strategy to reinforce its position on the Belgian market. Siegers Elektro’s activities complements those of Van den Berg, as a result of which the services offered are expanded, the position in the private sector is strengthened and the possibility of performing combined works is created.
