Heijmans could not reach agreement with the receivers of the insolvent Philipp Holzmann company.
Heijmans started the negotiations with clear conditions:
- the risk profile of Heijmans may not change due to the takeover, and
- German banks involved in the bankruptcy, must finance a large part of the new company, and
- the take-over must contribute to HeijmansÂ' profitability.
Now not all of these conditions are met, Heijmans decided to terminate the negotiations.
