Haslemere expects delisting in Amsterdam before the end of 2004 (NL)

Director Wilbert van Twuijver expects that real estate fund Haslemere will disappear from Euronext Amsterdam before the end of the year.

On June 4, 2004, Haslemere and GE Real Estate announced that the acquisition of an interest of 98.8% in Haslemere by General Electric Capital Corporation was completed for cash. It is anticipated that the buy-out for the remaining shares will take between 6 and 24 months to complete.

At this moment a request is pending for the termination of the listing on the Frankfurt exchange. The normal Haslemere shares will remain listed on Euronext Amsterdam until the termination of the secondary listing in Frankfurt is completed.

Van Twuijver: “It depends on the authorities when that will happen exactly, but I dare to say that after that Haslemere will also disappear from the Amsterdam exchange quite fast. It is anticipated that this will happen before the end of 2004.”
