Haslemere NV announced today that it has completed the disposal of a portfolio of 14 industrial properties to the Industrial Property Investment Fund and to Britel Fund Trustees Ltd in two simultaneous transactions for approximately £115m.
The disposals are of primarily mature assets and are part of the companyÂ'Â's business plan set out in the Brack Offer document for the Company published last March and subsequently adopted by the Board after the Offer was honoured.
Commenting on the disposal, Chris Bartram, Chief Executive of Haslemere said:
'These disposals are a major part of the sale programme we outlined earlier in the year. I am delighted with the progress we have made so far in repositioning Haslemere and we hope to complete the remainder of the other transactions underway within the next few months. At the same time we are already considering new investment opportunities, potential development projects and other new business.'
