Hammerson plc has signed leases at its two recently refurbished office buildings, 18 & 19 Hanover Square, London W1, following which both buildings are fully let.
At 18 Hanover Square, Avanta Management Services Limited, a serviced office business, has leased 2,860 m² (30,780 ft²) of office accommodation. The annual rent is £1.49 million. The lease term is 10 years, with the equivalent of an 18 month rent free period.
At 19 Hanover Square, Lend Lease Europe Limited, the European subsidiary of the Australian property company, will occupy 2,910 m² (31,340 ft²). The annual rent is £1.40 million, with an initial rent free period of 13 months on a 10 year lease.
John Richards, Chief Executive of Hammerson plc said: "Hammerson's West End office portfolio is now fully let. These two deals confirm the recent upturn in the central London office market. We are also seeing encouraging interest in our City office schemes, and are confident of having further deals to announce early in 2006."
