Hammersmith and Fulham Council selects Grainger and Helical Bar for

The council picked the developers for the scheme, which involves the redevelopment of the town hall site on King Street. The Grainger/Helical Bar team beat competition from Galliford Try and also from St James's Investments, Tesco's development arm, which was aiming to anchor the scheme with a new store.

It is thought that Grainger and Helical Bar have lined up Waitrose to anchor the scheme. The plans also include the creation of a public piazza on the site of the town hall extension as well as the creation of a footbridge, 55,000 ft
