“What is the sentiment towards the European real estate? That’s exactly what we want to find out at the September meeting, to measure the temperature of the market with its key players.” says managing director Ronny Gotthardt.
“The volatility in equity and bond markets we have seen recently is likely to further strengthen investors’ appetite for safe heaven opportunities. Over the last 12 months a lot of money has been raised globally to invest in European real estate, so the global sentiment seems very strong at the moment, partly driven by the risks investors are facing elsewhere. That said, Europe is not entirely free of challenges. Potential repercussions of a deal Greece (or not) a reverberating through investor’s minds. Alongside, the prospect of interest rate normalisation in the US has come closer, what are the implications on Europe?
“GRI caters specifically to senior level investors, developers and lenders who are leading the industry and the summit gives them an opportunity to get together and discuss what the next 12 months hold for real estate in Europe.” says Gotthardt.
GRI Europe Summit will have 40+ informal closed-door discussions where everybody in the room will take part and participate and 14 hours of casual networking to refresh conversations, exchange ideas and explore business opportunities.
