GPT Halverton has acquired a commercial property in Braunschweig for its HBI fund. The transaction volume amounts to €6.15 million. The property vendor is Körber Immobilien, a regional company.
The property in Spechtweg is located in the industrial area of Querumer Forst in Kralenriede, 6 kilometers from Braunschweig city center. The commercial property comprises five buildings, which were renovated in the 90s, with a total area of approximately 15,000 m². Currently 80% of this is used by 30 tenants. The property has a net initial yield of 8.38%.
This is GPT Halverton's second acquisition in Braunschweig for the HBI fund. In 2006, the Steinriedendamm Industrial Estate, with approximately 94,500 m² was also acquired in Kralenriede. Both properties are located only a few streets from each other.
