Goodman successful in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)

Goodman, the integrated property group which owns, develops and manages business and logistics space globally has announced the completion of two developments in Central and Eastern Europe whilst a third scheme has been topped out. The three bespoke projects bring more than 50,000 m² of warehouse and office space to market.

In Poland Goodman announces the completion of its total property solution for DHL Supply Chain in Raciborz. As part of the total solution, Goodman acquired a 6.3 ha site, together with DHL Supply Chain's existing 9,400-m² warehouse and 3,159-m² office block in a sale-and-leaseback operation. Next to the existing warehouse, Goodman developed a new, built-to-suit 9,200-m² extension which is also 100% leased to DHL Supply Chain. Completion of the project is a further extension of the global partnership that Goodman has with DHL.
Goodman has also completed a 16,000+ m² distribution facility for global logistics service provider Nippon Express in Lysomice, near Torun, Poland. Lysomice is a strategic industrial zone close to the highways linking Gdansk and its seaports with Warsaw, whilst being located only 50 km from Bydgoszcz International Airport. On the site, Goodman has already developed and, through its European Logistics Fund ('GELF'), presently owns and manages ca. 40,000 m² of warehouse space for Japanese logistics service providers NYK Logistics and Nissin.

In Hungary, Goodman is developing a 24,251-m² warehouse facility and 2,780 m² of office and social space for German health and beauty chain Rossmann at Üllő Airport Logistics Centre, Budapest. The project is part of the 155,000-m² development which is located just 3km from Ferihegy International Airport in one of Budapest's fastest growing consumer and logistic hubs. The high specification warehouse and office space will offer customers flexibility both in terms of design and delivery time.

Rinder GmbH has agreed terms to locate in Goodman's Senec Logistics Centre near Bratislava in Slovakia. The leading car accessories supplier will lease 10,183 m² of warehouse space including a special area for the storage of hazardous goods and 420 m2 of tailor-made office and communal space. The Senec Logistics Centre is located on a 31 hectare site in a prime location, just a short distance from Austrian, Hungarian and Czech Republic borders. With excellent transport links, including air and rail, within easy distance the area is quickly becoming an important logistics hub and will eventually accommodate ca. 180,000 m2 of lettable space.

All three facilities have been built-to-suit and will be included in Goodman's European Logistics Fund on completion and managed by its experienced property teams.
