GIB confirms it has received on September 16, a notification from the Banking and Finance Commission informing it of a take-over bid by Ackermans & Van Haaren.
The Board of Directors will meet before September 23, in order to establish as requested by applicable laws its opinion and comments to be transmitted to the Banking and Finance Commission and to the bidder. At this stage, there will be no further comments on this offer.
