Gecina acquires 90,000-m² logistics real estate portfolio in France (FR)

In connection with a property outsourcing operation, Gecina has just acquired a 90,000-m² logistics real estate portfolio from the Mory Group, one of the French freight forwarding and logistics market leaders.

The assets, spread throughout France, comprise 11 freight forwarding platforms and two industrial premises in the Greater Paris Region (Roissy Parinor II and La Courneuve). This portfolio, leased in full to the Mory Group, is secured under long-term closed leases.

Through this transaction, Gecina is investing in the freight forwarding market, with assets that will dovetail effectively with its warehouse and logistics portfolio.

This new acquisition has further strengthened Gecina's property holding, taking its logistics portfolio up to nearly 640,000 m² of leased space, excluding developments, which represent a future potential of 300,000 m².

On this deal, Gecina has been advised by the Wargny - Katz & Associés notary's office, and de Pardieu Brocas Maffei & Associés, Bredin Prat and CMS Bureau Francis Lefèbvre law firms.
