Gecina acquires 55,000-m² warehouse in Trappes, France (FR)

Gecina has completed the acquisition of a 55,000-m² logistics warehouse in Trappes – Elancourt, in the new town of Saint Quentin en Yvelines (west of Paris), where a number of logistics and industrial facilities are located.

This asset is leased in full to two leading global logistics firms.

Thanks to the acquisitions of several portfolios since the end of 2005, combined with the launch of development work for two logistics parks (Douai and Moussy-le-Neuf), Gecina is becoming a significant player on the French logistics real estate market. In this way, it has a leased portfolio of over 690,000 m², which will in time be supplemented by a further 300,000 m² of warehouse space, which is currently under development.

On this transaction, Gecina has been advised by the Wargny - Katz & Associés notary's office, with Exa providing real estate advice.
