Project to extend the existing 110,000 ft² (approx. 10,219 m²) facility by 40,000 ft² (approx. 3,716 m²) will take 6 months and eventually deliver a newly extended distribution center in excess of 150,000 ft² (approx. 13,935 m²)
Gazeley, a leading global investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks has today marked the start on site of a 40,000 ft² (approx. 3,716 m²) extension for leading international building, engineering and plumbing products and services specialists BSS (Part of the Travis Perkins Group) to extend their current National Distribution Centre.
The project which is due to commence shortly, will see the construction of a 40,000 ft² extension to the existing 110,000 ft² distribution facility, eventually creating a building of 150,000 ft² due to be completed in the summer.
Speaking at the event, Phil Oakley, Gazeley Development Manager said “This project is further evidence of our commitment to helping our customers in every way possible. With the team we have assembled we are confident in our ability to provide a cost effective, rapid solution for BSS without interrupting their current activities and deliver a value add solution for Canada Life Investments”
