Garbe Industrial Real Estate grows German portfolio

Garbe Industrial Real Estate has acquired a 34,000m² undeveloped property in Worth an der Isar, Germany, for the construction of a multi-use property with a total rentable area of 14,500m² is to be built on this. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The decisive factor for the location decision was the transport connection. The property with a planned hall area of 13,000m² plus office and social rooms is being built west of Wörth city centre in the Moospoint industrial estate. The Autobahn 92, which connects Munich with Deggendorf, runs in the immediate vicinity. The ‘Worth an der Isar’ junction is only a few hundred metres from the acquired property. Munich Airport can be reached by motorway in about 45 minutes. The building will be constructed according to the criteria of the current Energy Saving Ordinance.

"Both the location and the planned construction permit various possible uses," said Jan Dietrich Hempel, Managing Director of Garbe Industrial Real Estate. "Our aim is to let the hall, which can be divided into smaller units, to medium-sized companies from the industrial, production and commercial sectors." "The Munich metropolitan region is one of the most successful economic regions in Europe. The demand for rentable logistics and commercial real estate space is correspondingly high."
