Galliard to begin construction on €160.8m London mixed-use scheme (GB)

Galliard Homes has completed the purchase from TfL of TCRW SOHO, a €160.8m (£140m) (GDV) residential-led development on Oxford Street, the developer will now start the €63.2m (£55m) two-year construction project for the scheme which will deliver 92 apartments (74,675ft² of accommodation) and 9,939ft² of ground-floor retail space, situated above the new western entrance to the Elizabeth line at Tottenham Court Road. Savills acted for TfL and helped to negotiate the purchase agreement with Galliard Homes. Galliard Construction is the principal contractor for TCRW Soho with Ramboll acting as Consulting Engineers.

 

Designed by architectural practice Hawkins\Brown with specification and interior design by Argent Design, TCRW Soho is scheduled for completion in Summer 2023 and will comprise two new buildings, one Art Deco in style providing 69 apartments and a 7,989ft² Oxford Street retail unit, and the other Georgian-inspired in style, providing 23 apartments and 1,950ft² of new retail accommodation and kiosks.
