Citicourt Investment Partners has embarked on a major new UK investment drive on the back of fresh equity raisings from New York through to the Middle East. In the first of an impressive line up of deals Citicourt Investment Partners has bought a £70-million mixed-use portfolio from Henderson and Threadneedle. The 970,000-ft² portfolio consists of five retail and 14 commercial properties spread throughout the UK. The deal was concluded with an injection of £21 million of equity - the debt was provided by Abbey.
Citicourt is the talented, low key co-investment vehicle of seasoned investors Anthony Browne and John English, together with a very close network of wealthy co- investors.
Browne, who is Chief Executive, said that Citicourt is now finalizing heads of terms on a further £140 million of property in two other institutionally-owned mixed-use portfolios. He remarked that Citicourt now held
