Fortis announces that on 13 February, a proposal is to be put to the Fortis Board of Directors to appoint Professor Dr. J.R. (Jaap) Glasz as Co-Chairman, succeeding Hans Bartelds who, as has already been stated, is to step back on 1 February.
Jaap Glasz is currently Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. A further proposal will also be made to appoint Mr J.J. (Jan) Slechte (Eng.), currently a member of the Board of Directors, as Vice-Chairman.
