First office space in Düsseldorf's Le Quartier Central let off-plan (DE)

HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung has let over 12,000 m² of space to the VivaKi Group, Saatchi & Saatchi and Re:Sources, companies belonging to the French Publicis Group, at the first office building in Düsseldorf's Le Quarter Central development. This means that a good 90% of the total rental space of around 13,400 m² has already been let off-plan.

The office building is due for completion by the end of 2012.

The office building, which has a 21,000-m² gross floor area and 215 underground parking slots, is due for completion by the end of 2012 at the southeast end of Le Quartier Central. HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung purchased the 3,800-m² lot on the future Toulouser Allee at the end of 2010 from aurelis Real Estate.

VivaKi's various agencies, which to date are spread around different buildings in Düsseldorf, will be brought together in this six-story property. Apart from the VivaKi holding company, other tenants moving in to the new building at the end of 2012 include the media agencies Optimedia and Zenithmedia, as well as subsidiaries Zed digital and Newcast. Other tenants are the creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi as well as Re:Sources as a shared service center.

The office building is designed to meet the sustainability criteria of the German Council for Sustainable Building (DGNB), with HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung aiming for at least Silver certification.
