First new shopping center in Eastern Zagreb nearly all leased (CR)

The first new shopping center in Eastern Zagreb, Zamparini's MANDI shopping center, has been 80% leased out, according to the exclusive letting agents for the shopping center, Colliers Croatia. The shopping center will feature 50 shops, 28,000 m² of retail space, and some big retail names not yet present in Croatia, with the full lineup to be announced.

MANDI shopping center will open this September. It is located next to Slavonska Avenue in the eastern part of the city. It has a catchment area of 60,000 people within five minutes drive and 200,000 people within 10 minutes drive, and will open up a whole new area of Zagreb to international quality shopping.

In addition to the fifty shops, there will be four food courts with a range of different cafes, and 750 outdoor parking places.

MANDI shopping center features four anchors, including the MANDI (home shopping) store, the first one in Croatia, and a TOMMY supermarket, the first one in Zagreb, both of which are more than 4,000 m². There other two anchors are a CISALFA sports store and HG SPOT electronics store.

Gruppo Zamparini is a proven international developer, and is also the investor in various other commercial projects in Croatia, including the Mercatonne Centar in Zagreb and other shopping centers in Osijek and Split.

"I am very excited to have been involved in bringing the first international quality shopping center to eastern Zagreb," added Nenad Peris, Senior Commercial Real Estate Consultant, on the project for Colliers Croatia. "It's going to provide a great shopping experience and make shopping a lot easier for a lot of people."

Tomislav Peroviæ, Managing Director of Colliers Croatia, commented, "This achievement shows again that Colliers is the dominant force for retail leasing in Croatia."
