FADESA develops big resort in Mexico (ES)

FADESA continues its plans for international expansion with its entry in Mexico, country where it will take part in the construction of a big resort in the Pacific Coast. The resort will be located within the State of Nayarit, 30 minutes far away from Puerto Vallarta, and in the very front of a 2 kilometers long beach. It is a virgin area with a huge potential for tourism, based on the beauty of its beaches and its climate, with an average temperature of 25ºC during all the year. The whole resort, whose first phase has been named after Litibú, is made up of a total surface of 170 ha. divided in 21 plots, four of them developed by FADESA.

In this new tourist destination, called Cip Nayarit, FADESA has purchased in a tender 4 plots of fully permitted land with a total investment of €27 million. FADESA will build on them 1 luxury hotel, with a surface of 53.369 m², that will offer 640 beds. The Spanish company will promote also, in the residential field, apartments for 1.284 beds, along with a Beach Club.

This project will be also endowed with a golf course and with services equipments, that are being built by the Mexican public company FONATUR ( National Fond for the Promotion of Tourism).

FADESA´s project takes a part in the first phase of a Plan made up by the Mexican Government who, with a perspective for the next 2025, aims to become Cip Nayarit a leading tourist destination like Riviera Maya, within the Mexican Caribbean.

With this project, based on an in-depth analysis and research of the opportunities of the Mexican Real Estate market, FADESA starts operating within a country with enormous possibilities both in the first residence sphere and in the development of big resorts. In fact, FADESA is currently studying other projects in the country.

This development consolidates a new step within the ambitious plan for international expansion of FADESA that reinforces our condition of main Spanish investor in Morocco and our presence in Portugal, France, Hungary and Poland. At the same time, that implies the consolidation of our Asset Division focused on the Hotel business, including urban hotels of 3 and 4 stars, along with holidays resorts in well known tourist areas such as the Mediterranean coast or the Canary Islands.
