Fabege has acquired Mimer 5, a property with 12,100 m² of lettable space in Vasastan, Stockholm, for approx. €38 million (SEK 380 million). The seller is Akademiska Hus. The transfer will take place on 19 February 2007.
The property, which primarily comprises office and educational premises, is located at the junction of Vanadisvägen and Hagagatan in close proximity to Fabege s other properties in the Norrtull area.
Christian Hermelin, Fabege's CEO, comments: "Mimer 5 is in a good condition after a thorough renovation a few years ago. We already own other properties in the same area, including the Wenner-Gren Center. Mimer 5 is an excellent addition and strengthens our portfolio in the Norrtull/Norra Stationsområdet area."
