A meeting place, a place for the exchange of knowledge, as well as an exhibition place. These are the guidelines of EXAAI - Expo Alpe Adria Immobiliare, international trade fair, which aims at creating a meeting point for real estate operators willing to invest in the Alpe Adria region. Organized by Fiera Trieste Spa in close cooperation with a team of technical consultants, EXAAI will be held from 16th to 18th November in Trieste, Italy, the heart of Mitteleuropea and new center of an enlarged Europe. The event will be hosted in the halls of the Maritime Station, along the seafront and in the heart of the city.
Indeed, EXAAI will focus on a specific geographical area, that is the Alpe Adria region, composed by Croatia, Slovenia, Western Hungary, Austria, Bavaria (Germany), Ticino (Switzerland) and Northern Italy. The area includes countries which will soon enter the EU, and experiencing a rapid growth in the real estate sector.
The event will develop around an exhibition area, a congress area and a match-making service to increase exchange opportunities. EXAAI, dedicated exclusively to real estate operators, will be an excellent opportunity to meet institutional representatives of the local areas involved, public bodies, asset managers, facility managers, financial institutions, property managers, agencies for territorial development, builders, associations, and all those involved in the estate investment sector in the region.
Numerous Workshops and Seminars are scheduled, where participants may find practical information on legal, tax, commercial and financial issues concerning the multifaceted Alpe Adria reality. The Italian national newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore is an active partner of the event, and will organize a conference focusing on real estate cross-border issues, such as the geographical diversification of investments. The Croatian Ministry of Productive Activities for economic incentives to investments and the President of the National Fund for the privatisation of Croatian tourism estates have already confirmed their participation.
The event, sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce, has already attracted a great interest, among Alpe Adria public administration bodies, as well as among the most important international real estate organizations, which confirms the importance of a professionally-oriented exchange place on this sector. The growth of the real estate market in the above mentioned countries, the knowledge of the numerous opportunities for investment, the chance of meeting several experts of the field and the need of practical information on specific territorial realities are the key elements for the success of EXAAI.
The President of Fiera Trieste Spa, Fulvio Bronzi said that 'the event represents an unprecedented opportunity to present the Alpe Adria estate market to international operators. Once more, Trieste is the link between different realities which may find a common way to develop their interests".
