Europolis signs biggest logistics deal in Poland (PL)

Real estate company Europolis has entered into a joint venture with land owners Poland Central to develop the largest logistics park in Central and Eastern Europe. Located close to Piotrków Trybunalski, central Poland, the Poland Central Logistics Park will cost €172 million to develop and will contain warehousing and light production space of 530,000 m².

Construction work is due to begin in the mid-year 2006, and the first warehouse (44,000 m²) should be ready in December 2006. IKEA, Unilever, Ahold and Auchan have already signed tenancy deals for space within the park.
